Kogi State Government announces resumption date for schools

  The Kogi State Government has announced that schools at all levels in the state will be resuming September 14th, 2020. This announcement was made by the State’s Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones, FCIB, at a press briefing on Tuesday in Lokoja. It was gathered that the decision was made after series of interactions with the relevant stakeholders and assessment of both private and public schools in the state to ascertain their level of preparedness and safety for reopening of schools from COVID-19 break.
